Get Polished Nail Spa

Its been over a year since I last treated myself to a manicure and a foot spa.. My job as a Barista did not permit having nail polish on.. and even after that job.. financially, I was in no place to be splurging on nail care. But my twisted fate is looking up lately and I just felt the need to complete the whole "I feel like a brand new person" package. Hence.. gorgeous nails and a much much MUCH needed foot spa.

I wanted to check out the new Nail salons available in BF Homes but since its been so long, I wanted to just go back to Get Polished because I know the kind of service they have there already.. and well, since I last been there, they had moved, and from 6 couches, they already have.. about 11 or 12.. great job at expanding :)

When I got there, I was considering Nail Art but.. their samples kind of looked... unprofessional.. like.. some kid drew the flowers.. So I opted to go for...this style:

I wanted to do the design on the upper left photo.. I just loved the carbon look on the Black and how for some reason the metal on the edge reminded me of a ...ballpen =p So as luck wouldve had it, they had the carbon looking black.. and they had a good silver.. Then the lady asked me if I wanted the same for the feet... then I realized, itd be hard to do on my feet because my toe nails are a tad bit too tiny.. And so the manicurista said to just go with one color... And I did..

From what I remember before, they had more color choices.. I actually wanted a dark red.. I remember the color I used before was African Red.. and they no longer had it.. all the red they had were.. puta - cheap looking red.. So I went for Indigo (for men who are reading, Indigo is another shade of Violet)

I also got to choose from 6 different scrub scents: Lavender Orange, Cucumber Green Tea, Mango Banana, Peppermint, Peach Ginseng and... Tangerine Lemongrass I think.. I chose the Peach Ginseng for my Foot Spa Scrub :)

Faith, the one doing my feet was very courteous, scrubbed my feet to death and really really gave me an awesome foot massage. The one doing my nails.. a bit on her own world.. pricked my finger, made me feel like an idiot for asking her what she meant by.. gee I forgot the word she used but its to take out the skin on the sides.. and just left the hand dryer on my lap and never came back out to turn it off... I had to ask Faith to remove it already coz it was getting pretty hot.. So yeah.. no tip for the manicurista... which is fine, I get to save my fifty bucks for tomorrow's lunch. :)

So there's the finished product.. a few knicks on the paint both feet and hands... but Im loving how smooth my legs are and how good my hands and feet smell after.. :)

Manicure:160
Pedi Spa : 350

Total 560

To rate this experience though, I decided to try out neighbor nail salons next time.. it just didnt feel the same as when I used to go there last year.. and Ive been there a lot of times so.. I would know when something is different.. either that.. or I just ended up with a new girl working on me @.@
